Why as many as 90 photos?
One day, while walking around the city, I photographed everything that caught my attention.
A lot of photographs were created in this way.
I asked myself: what to do with so many photos? Pick 15-20 and forget about the rest?
It was a pity for me.
Some time later I thought:
- If we want to look critically at our own work in order to find our pros and cons, determine our photographic preferences and sensitivity, as well as possible equipment needs, we need more photographs than just 15-20.
and
- Only photos taken spontaneously, without the pressure of time or anyone, will be objective material suitable for analysis.
In this way, a posteriori, I came up with a justification for the advisability of showing 90 such photographs.
Which is what I'm doing.
Dlaczego aż 90 zdjęć?
Pewnego dnia spacerując po mieście fotografowałem, wszystko to co zwróciło moją uwagę.
Powstało w ten sposób bardzo dużo fotografii.
Zapytałem siebie: co z taką ilością zdjęć zrobić? Wybrać 15-20 zaś o reszcie zapomnieć?
Szkoda mi było.
Jakiś czas później pomyślałem:
- jeśli chcemy spojrzeć krytycznie na własną twórczość po to by znaleźć swoje plusy i minusy, określić fotograficzne preferencje i wrażliwość, oraz ewentualne potrzeby sprzętowe potrzebujemy więcej fotografii niż tylko 15 - 20.
oraz
- tylko zdjęcia zrobione spontanicznie, bez presji czasu i kogokolwiek będą obiektywnym materiałem nadającym się do analizy.
W ten sposób, a posteriori wymyśliłem uzasadnienie dla celowości pokazania 90 takich właśnie zdjęć.
